"We recently visited Tokyo staying at the Capitol Hotel - which I would also recommend. They arranged a personal tour guide with Outech for us. We spent several hours with our guide Seira. She is knowledgeable, personable and has a zest for life - the latter a wonderful attribute in a guide. We visited gardens, went shopping, had a lovely lunch and had commentary on many other places to visit. As our Japanese is sadly lacking,(will rectify this as will visit again) we requested an English speaking guide - Seira's English is superb and this enabled us to get understanding of Japanese culture and really connect. I would definitely recommend this company. For me, taking a personal tour early on when visiting another country enables me to work out what I really want to do and so not waste time and miss out on some really interesting attractions.
